I had the distinct pleasure to return to my Alma Mater at Eindhoven University of Technology and to talk about the practice of automating business with process orchestration technology.

This lecture adds a practitioner’s viewpoint for those learning about applying the BPM lifecycle. It explains how balancing process management, methods and technology are essential for effective and continuous process improvement.

Process automation and orchestration tools like Camunda can be used to automate process and decision models. The demo at the end of the lecture showed how that can be done to first implement, then improve a process.

There is plenty of work left to do for both technology and business engineers!
